ACT1006 Integrating the Skills of the Actor

Description:

This unit extends the skills of the actor and requires more exacting and greater detail in scene preparation and performance. Emphasis is placed on the ability to apply the process of rehearsal to a transformative performance and understand and apply the principals of standard theatre practice to the work in the ensemble. It also introduces the roles and working methods of various artistic and technical personnel involved in professional theatre. A high level of integration of class work is expected in the performances in this unit.
