SSE6601 Planning for Teaching Secondary Social Science

Description:

This introductory unit is designed to prepare students for teaching the Social Sciences to learners in the lower secondary years of schooling. Areas of emphasis will cover: contemporary curriculum documents; concept teaching-learning; skills development and resources; planning learning short term learning experiences, and introducing long term forward planning techniques including scope and sequence documents.
