Description:

This unit examines the rational, objectives and structure of the upper secondary school curricula. Effective pedagogies and resources, which include ICT integration, are explored for post compulsory physical and biological science courses. Students are familiarised with upper secondary science assessment purposes, structures and strategies. Options within the unit structure allow students to develop expertise in the planning and programming of two of the major upper secondary science curricula areas.
