Description:

This unit focuses on the teaching and assessment of advanced secondary courses in English and Literature. Students will examine senior secondary curricula, review and interpret relevant examination requirements and policies, and develop the instructional skills needed to build challenging and engaging programs of work for senior classes. Current issues in curriculum theory and practice will also be explored, with a focus on how theoretical frameworks in English shape curricula and classroom practice.
