In this unit students will critique contemporary policies and practices underpinning the education and care of children birth to five. It will analyse notions of child development and learning theories pertaining to children aged birth to three years. Students will investigate the sustainable management of effective environments that promote the health, safety and well being of infants and toddlers. This unit will assist students to determine the ways in which educators promote partnerships with children and families and establish reciprocal and respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
This unit assists students to work effectively in diverse childcare settings. The unit investigates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners and their families. Full Unit Outline | |||
