ECM6110 Mathematics in Early Childhood 1

Description:

The focus of this unit is on the development of mathematics as outlined in current Curriculum documents from birth to five years. Strategies for planning, managing and assessing children’s learning are highlighted. The integration of mathematics across the curriculum, the teaching of mathematics to children from diverse cultural backgrounds and the importance of positive family / community partnerships are addressed.
