Description:

This unit focuses on the development of skills and strategies to facilitate the effective work of a school psychologist to assist in the teaching and learning process in schools. The unit aims to develop prospective school psychologists' skills to enable them to execute their specific tasks effectively, including ways in which they can strategically assist classroom teachers in their work.  It also provides scope for school psychology students to consider ways in which they might apply appropriate professional and ethical actions to situations they are likely to encounter in schools.
