SCY4116 Facility Security and Technologies

Description:

This unit examines the nature of critical infrastructure security technology within a systems approach. The unit presents the broad range of security and security related technologies within a facility, and the students gain an understanding of the foundation principles, technologies and systems of such equipment. These technologies are then considered as a system for the protection and risk mitigation within the critical infrastructure environment. Over the course of this unit, students are expected to produce a whole-of-systems design.
