LAN4260 Language Systems for TESOL

Description:

This unit examines the systematic nature of language including its structure and function. Students will examine the language systems of phonology, morphology, lexis, syntax and discourse in the context of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). Attention will also be given to the communicative aspects of second language acquisition (SLA) and the organisation and structure of oral and written texts.
