PLN5200 Thesis Preparation A

Description:

This unit is the first stage in the preparation of a thesis submission. Students will develop a range of skills necessary for postgraduate research work, including the use of the library and library databases, use of the Internet, relevant software such as Endnote, SPSS and NVivo as applicable, the selection of a research topic, and identification of a theoretical and/or conceptual framework. Additionally this unit includes a basic introduction to qualitative research methods from a planning and urban design perspective.
