SPS4211 Applied Sports Biomechanics: Teaching and Coaching
SCHOOL OF EXERCISE AND HEALTH SCIENCES

Description:

This unit will provide the student with an in depth knowledge of the major biomechanical principles and how they relate to the different sports. Observational strategies for identifying key technique points and analysing technical errors in selected sports skills will be explored.

Students will learn how biomechanics can be used as a valuable tool to improve human performance as well as prevent injury.
