Description: | |||
In this unit, students learn about chronic pain and the evidence-based best-practice approaches to its physiotherapy management. This unit examines the role of the physiotherapist in minimising injury in the workplace and return-to-work rehabilitation programmes. Chronic disease and the impact on the community as well as the physiotherapy management of people with a chronic diseases, is addressed. Oncology and the role of the physiotherapist, is covered here.
