Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of ground handling, with emphasis on the management and processes used in the industry. This will be achieved by acknowledging the role of supply chain management and the study of the development of global and local ground handling networks. The unit has been developed in collaboration with industry partners, including Emirates Airlines, ensuring that the current procedures and technical requirements of the aviation industry are addressed.
