GDT4104 Game Studies

Description:
This unit evaluates the theories and approaches used in the study of games, including effects research, ludology, simulation, narrative, psychology, and ethnography. Students will analyse the aesthetic and cultural significance of games by applying these theories to popular computer games and gaming phenomena, as well as designing their own card or board game.
