| The unit introduces the innovation sequence and the ethical needs of the engineering profession. The innovation module looks at research, development, adaptation and implementation. Entrepreneurial skills, negotiating skills and communication skills are stressed. The ethics module introduces the professional responsibilities related to ethics, industrial relations, occupational health and safety and concern for the community and the environment.
