SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
Credit Points: 15
Prerequisites:
EPH5000 Essential Physics Concepts for Teaching

Description:
This unit will position senior secondary physics curricula against some of the more advanced content knowledge desirable for the good teaching of physics concepts. In doing this, the unit will refresh and consolidate the conceptual understandings needed for teaching in this learning area, as students are familiarised with both the content knowledge and process skills that are appropriate to the teaching of secondary physics as a specialist subject. Students will also practise the pedagogical and communication skills required of physics teachers.
