Description:
Millions of dollars are spent on Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) yet very little knowledge exists about justifying and realising these large investments. The key question of whether or not IT and IS provide value is examined as well as the types of value, evaluation approaches and realisation techniques. Modern methodologies are examined as a way of managing IT value during the stages of acquiring and implementing IT and IS.
