OCT4125 Human Occupation
SCHOOL OF EXERCISE AND HEALTH SCIENCES

Description:
Students study the theory of occupation and the relationship between person, environment and occupation. The human need to engage in occupation, along with the links to health and well-being is examined. The major conceptual frameworks and the fundamentals of client-centred practice are discussed. Clinical reasoning and its centrality to effective practice is introduced. Students will observe and participate in activities in clinical settings and have the opportunity to develop clinical skills.
