Description: | |||
Students are introduced to universal design and assistive technology and its applications in schools, at work, in the community and at home. The unit adopts a holistic approach to problem identification, problem analysis, intervention and discharge planning to improve occupational performance. Particular attention is given to issues related to proper positioning when using assistive technology devices and to measuring and evaluating performance outcomes.
