Description: | |||
An introduction to the role of occupational therapy in linking work evaluations and interventions to workers' mental, emotional and physical capacities. The unit also considers the effects on work performance of physical, cultural and social environments. There is a focus on a holistic approach to problem identification, problem analysis, intervention and discharge planning to improve occupational performance. Students will observe and participate in activities in clinical settings and have the opportunity to develop clinical skills. Full Unit Outline | |||
