Description:

This unit addresses the fundamental principles of financial and management accounting for planning, control and decision making. It is not concerned with the preparation of accounts (i.e. debits and credits, and journal entries), but rather the interpretation of essential financial information, and the construction and use of imperative management accounting information. The unit highlights the effective use of financial resources and a range of management accounting tools as key elements in planning and decision making in order to achieve enterprise objectives.
