This is an introduction to the management of the accommodation sector of the hospitality industry. The principles and procedures in the provision of quality tourist accommodation are studied with emphasis on the front office, housekeeping and security. Pricing strategies, human and other resource allocation and the maintenance of inventories form important and integral areas of study in the unit.
