Description:

This unit examines several major human diseases with specific attention to their nutrition management and the construction of appropriate nutrition care plans. The unit covers basic pathophysiological processes, signs and symptoms of diseases.  Each major disease is explored in relation to clinical dietetic work with infants and childen, adults and the elderly.
