This unit is the first of the two English curriculum units for the Graduate Diploma in Education Studies. The unit introduces students to a range of instructional and planning techniques for teaching English to secondary students, and to theories of language and learning, with a focus on the fundamental processes of reading, writing, speaking, listening and viewing.
