ICT4707 Computer Gaming and its Implications for Learning

Description:

In this unit, participants will explore the design and use of games for engaged learning. Activities include the critical examination of the opportunities and limitations of games for learning in schools, defining learning outcomes, planning a game-mediated activity to engage students, development or/and integration of games, scaffolding of learning activity, and setting up a set of mechanisms for the effective integration of games in the classroom.
