Description:

This unit provides participants with a general understanding of how computers can be effectively used across the curriculum as an integral part of the instructional process. The computer is perceived as a tool interwoven with the participants, non-computer based tools and the sociocultural context of the learning environment. The unit identifies and investigates pertinent issues and problems of computer integration, examine the appropriateness and effectiveness of computer tools, and explores the different approaches of computers use to support the instructional processes of curriculum subjects.
