LAN4250 English Language Teaching and Learning

Description:
This unit examines various strategies and techniques for teaching English to bilingual learners at different stages of proficiency.  Issues that will be considered include learning English and learning through English in all areas of curriculum; cross-cultural learning styles and language learning strategies; and, effective evaluation/ assessment of language learning. Pre-service teachers will also examine the development of the various methodologies in Language Teaching and different syllabus types.
