Description:

Recruitment and retention decisions have a fundamental impact upon all systems within an organisation.  Additionally, retaining people who effectively contribute to the organisation is necessary to maintain business viability.  This unit focusses on the process relating to recruitment, selection and retention strategies which can benefit the organisation as a whole.  Throughout the course practical examples will be examined alongside theoretical principles underlying recruitment, selection and retention practices.  Experimental learning is a foundation of the course learning process.
