ARE3201 Advanced Visual Arts Workshop 2

Description:
This unit will enable students to continue studio projects based on their studio strengths and conceptual interests. Students will be expected to focus on the interconnections between the conceptual basis of their work, contextual concerns and the aesthetic of the chosen medium. To support this, students are to continue the practice of keeping a Workbook which includes documentation of ideas, research into and reflection on the visual arts. The assignment for this unit is to research and plan a project for an arts related context. This assignment foreshadows the content of the next unit. An exhibition of studio work together with supporting documentation is a requirement of the unit.
