ARE1160 Textiles 1

Description:
This is a practical art unit with classes offered in each of the studio areas: Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking or Textiles. Set projects emphasise individual expression of ideas informed by reference to traditional and contemporary art practice and individual research. The creative use of the medium and the integration of new technologies into the work process are expected features. Attention is given to historical and contemporary art in society; and to the educational value of studio practice in a range of professional contexts.
