EDP1201 Development and Learning for Teaching
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION

Description:
The unit provides an introduction to the principles and practices of effective teaching based on a foundation of child development and theories of learning. Practical field experiences will be provided for making connections between theory and practice, developing skills of observation, and planning, teaching and evaluating lessons. The model of the teacher as a reflective autonomous educator will be developed further in the unit.
