Description:

This unit introduces the strategies and teaching methods of Design and Technology in schools. The unit focuses on preparation for practical teaching, including Design and Technology courses, planning and lesson preparation.  The unit also provides an introduction to the philosophy of teaching Design and Technology with particular emphasis on the link between the design process and the essence of technology.
