MAN7200 Doctor of Philosophy Thesis
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Credit Points: 0

Description:

An original piece of research work undertaken as part of a Doctor of Philosophy in the field of management.

The Doctor of Philosophy is a research degree where the candidate is expected to carry out independent research involving a comprehensive study of a scope and size that could not normally be completed in the equivalent of one and one-half year’s full time study. The purpose of the degree is to train students in the use of research methodology and techniques and in a critical evaluation appropriate to their field of study. By the end of their candidature the student should be capable of conceiving, designing, implementing and evaluating a research based study that is equivalent to a standard that is internationally recognised in the relevant discipline or disciplines. The thesis should also be consistent with the requirements outlined in Edith Cowan University’s Doctoral and Masters by Research Handbook.
