AED5107 Landscape and You
SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
Credit Points: 15

Description:
The unit, Landscape and You, provides twelve weeks of practical and theoretical work centred on exploring the concept of landscape. Through a supervised process of sensory inquiry activities supported by video encounters with a wide range of Australia’s outstanding arts practitioners and other experts in the land and landscape, students will complete a ‘Personal Landscape Project’ in a chosen field of creative expression (including writing, media art, visual arts, music, dance etc). Informing this project is a course of theoretical inquiry based on the video episodes and an extensive range of selected readings. Also as part of their project students will attempt a series of ‘Activity Topics’ in which they can utilise their local environment.
