SCB3524 Comparative and Environmental Physiology

Description:

This unit explores a range of physiological functions in animals. The comparative approach to physiology allows an appreciation of evolutionary progression, relationships between animal groups, and the diverse ways in which animals have adapted to their environment and specialised in their ecological roles. Note that practical activities in this unit include use of animals, animal products and/or tissues. All activities comply with Animal Welfare legislation and NHMRC Guidelines and, where appropriate, are approved by the ECU Animal Ethics Committee.
