MID6102 Evidence Based Practice applied to Midwifery

Description:

This unit provides students with an opportunity to understand evidence-based practice and research methods as applied to midwifery practice.  Using the principles of inquiry-based learning, students will examine research case studies in order to understand how clinical problems can be addressed and clinical knowledge expanded using research and evidence based practice.  Student will then apply this understanding to a clinical scenario drawn from practice.
