RPS3106 Professional Placement
SCHOOL OF REGIONAL PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

Prerequisites:
Completion of second year, or equivalent, and approval from relevant Faculty of RPS Programme Coordinator
 
Description:

This unit provides a professionally supervised, contracted learning experience in a range of workplaces. It emphasises the application of theoretical knowledge to workplace problems that involve planning, research and implementation. Students are responsible for finding the host organisation and are required to report back to their academic coordinator. A learning agreement, entered into by the student, workplace supervisor and academic coordinator, determines the specific content and teaching and learning processes, together with the skills and competencies to be acquired and demonstrated.
