PST1101 Introduction to Paramedical Practice

Description:

This unit will explore the principles and practice underpinning the assessment and management of clients in the pre-hospital environment and the role of paramedics in the health continuum. Using a problem-solving approach, students will demonstrate beginning competencies in the care of clients in the pre-hospital area including cultural awareness, effective communication, leadership, team work and skills for basic life support .
