L80 Graduate Certificate of Secondary Education (Design and Technology)

The Graduate Certificate of Secondary Education (Design and Technology) provides an opportunity for motivated and academically capable teachers to re-train in a learning area of great demand.  An emphasis upon both curriculum content and best teaching practice in Western Australian secondary schools is a strong and consistent theme in across four pedagogy and content units. The Design and Technology specialisation provides both a refresher and a consolidation of content skills for teachers who wish to re-train in the teaching of Design and Technology up to and including Year 10. The course is supported by both highly organised materials and flexible delivery for off-campus, and includes the offer of professional mentoring assistance as an ongoing aid to early teaching in the discipline.
