K97 BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE
The addiction studies and youth work double major comprises 360 credit points (23 units). Young people who come into contact with Youth Workers typically experience co-occurring alcohol, tobacco and/or other drug problems. This double major is therefore designed to connect these two areas and provide students with an understanding of youth issues and drug-use issues. Two of the addiction studies units (ADS3252 and ADS3351) require students to attend on-campus classes. Students who are unable to attend classes may, with the permission of the Bachelor of Health Science Course Coordinator, substitute two third-year HST units.
