SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The minimum admission requirement for this area of specialisation is a three-year Bachelor of Arts (Education) or equivalent teaching qualification. In addition, all entrants must provide evidence of at least twelve months’ satisfactory full-time school teaching experience or the equivalent part-time experience.
Students are eligible for Associate (professional) membership of the Australian Library and Information Association if they graduate with a Graduate Diploma of Science (Information Services) in this area of specialisation, subject to any other membership requirements.
Students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate of Information Services (Teacher Librarianship) may apply for advanced standing in this area of specialisation.
