MIAAEA  Counter Terrorism and Intelligence Minor

This unit set comprises the core units in the degree in Counter Terrorism, Security and Intelligence, to give students in other degrees an understanding of this area of interest. The ever changing nature of terrorism makes this a fascinating area of study particularly as it is an international phenomenon. How countries are able to combat this threat is through the ability to gather Intelligence. Both aspects are core to securing Australia's security. This unit set offers students the opportunity to learn how Australia is defending itself against the terrorist threat.

 
UNIT SET LOCATION
This unit set is available on Mt Lawley, Joondalup, and Bunbury Campuses.
 
MODE OF DELIVERY
This unit set is available in the following modes of delivery - On-campus, and Online.
 
MINOR STUDY AND ELECTIVES
Students will complete the first five units listed below, and either SCY3117 Security in Government or SCY2106 Aviation Security (totalling in 90 credit points).
