Description:

This unit will facilitate the advancement of knowledge in theoretical principles of paediatric treatment for a critical care paramedic working under medical authority in the pre-hospital environment. It will focus upon the major components of paediatric treatment to enable the student to develop skills in becoming a specialist extended scope of practice paramedic.
