In this unit students will examine the role of a sound producer including their responsibilities for pre-production, time management, talent liaison and intellectual property management. Students will also cover advanced production techniques, including ‘commercially’ driven mixing, multi-take recording, ‘comping’, creative mixing techniques, pre-mastering considerations and final mastering.
