Public Relations activity is integral to the effective functioning of individuals, groups, organisations and governments. Through focused communication and relationship development, public relations practitioners help an individual or entity accomplish their purpose while balancing and respecting the needs of all stakeholders.
This course provides students with the conceptual understanding and practical skills to make an effective contribution at any level. The course equips students with critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills; the ability to take the initiative and make decisions; it strengthens writing and media relations skills; and it provides students with the knowledge and ability to plan and implement a range of communication strategies.
