MAAAAJ  Economics Major

Provides an understanding of the two broad areas of macro and micro economics, as well as equipping students with the transferable employability skills of leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem solving, sought by graduate employers.
It is a vital backdrop to a business career, and the economist's approach to problem analysis is deeply embedded in our society. Economists are found in every sphere of commercial activity, for example the public sector, banking, journalism and politics.
Economics can be a great accompaniment to a second major in Accounting, Finance or Marketing.

 

Students not enrolled into G95 (Bachelor of Business) who wish to take this major must consult the coordinator.

The Economics major consists of 120 credit points (8 units).
