SMCHPE  Human Performance 8 Unit Supporting Major 

This unit set is available in the following courses:

The Human Performance supporting major comprises 120 credit points and is available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) degree.  

If you are considering a career in physical education or sports coaching you are encouraged to select this supporting major. Five Human Performance units, SPS3203 Human Movement and Disability plus 2 units selected from the list below make up the Human Performance supporting major.

 

EBH1102 Human Physiology or SPS1101 Foundations of Sports Science are co/pre-requisites for the Performance Studies Units.

Students considering Physical Education as a career are required to nominate a second teaching area when applying for the Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary, Physical Education). If students were to nominate science we encourage the selection of SCH1133 and SCI1183 or SCC1123 to further enhance their science knowledge.
