This unit applies the principles of disaster management, emergency response and the management of multiple casualties during a critical incident. These principles are applied in a case-based approach to contemporary national and international events to facilitate the aquisition of knowledge and skills to perform effectively in an interprofessional team environment as a team member or leader.
