Description:
This unit investigates the ecology and environmental management issues and approaches related to wild-stock fisheries and aquaculture farms in freshwater and marine environments, with particular emphasis on the potential impacts these activities can have on the environment. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the biology and ecology of fish and the data requirements and approaches used in the management of fisheries resources.
