NNT3203 Introduction to Critical Care

NNT2206 Principles of the Individual's Adaptation to Altered Health Status 2
OR
NNT2204 Introduction to Paediatrics
NSP2209 Developing Nursing Competencies
students must be enrolled in or have completed NSP3200
 
Description:

This unit will facilitate student advancement of knowledge and skills to enable them to apply, analyse and evaluate care and management when caring for an acutely ill patient.  The focus of the unit will be within the critical care environment and for patients with complex biopsychosocial and spiritual needs across the life span. The following unit must be undertaken concurrently: NSP3200 - Advanced Nursing Competencies.
